Barbara Gatti

Ms. Barbara Gatti joined CEN/ISSS (European Committee for Standardization/Information Society Standardization System) in May 1999.

She is responsible for planning and managing e-business related Workshops/Focus Groups in support of the Information Society, maintaining their work programmes and business plans, disseminating their results. She acts as liaison between Workshop/Focus Groups and European Institutions, represents industrial interests in negotiations with the European Commission and co-ordinates Workshop/Focus Group activities with other organizations as well as setting up of international events on e-business issues. She coordinates the CEN/ISSS eBusiness Interoperability Forum and few other CEN/ISSS Workshops/ Focus Groups.

She holds a Degree in Monetary and Financial Economics from Bocconi University, Milan (Italy) and a MA in European Economic Studies from the College of Europe, Bruges (Belgium).
